Sleep My Child is the latest project created by the artists of Songs with a Voice. Funded by a grant from the Asian Women's Giving Circle and our fiscal sponsor the New York Asian Women's Center. A world-wide problem that occurs even in the Greater New York Area, we are hoping to raise awareness about child trafficking through a modern, visually compelling music video.
Given the nature of this project, creating a piece that is relatable, educational, provacative and able to retain full attention for 3.5 minutes promises to be an exciting challenging for our team of artists. Music production was completed at the end of 2011. Filming of the video is slated for late March 2012.
